Hi Team

As you are all no doubt aware it will be MANDATORY for all Crowd Controllers working in licensed premises to have a "Responsible Service of Alcohol" or RSA accreditation as of the 1st of July 2018.

If you do not have this accreditation you will not be permitted to work. Further to this, any crowd controller working at a licensed premise without their RSA accreditation will be subject to a $200.00 on the spot fine or up to $2000.00 should you wish to take the matter to court.

If an LEU officer or RGL inspector wishes to see your accreditation you and or the venue will need to produce it on demand. As everyone has a smartphone these days I would encourage you to use your employee portal to hold digital copies of your; 1. Current "Crowd Control Licence" 2. Current "First Aid" certificate 3. RSA accreditation. So you can produce them when called upon.

If you do not have your RSA certificate then you MUST complete the course and submit the certificate to us before the 1st of July. Below are a couple of links to courses

AHA is offering a discounted Responsible Service of Alcohol course for $35 as opposed to the usual non-member price of $65. THIS MAY BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER COURSES AVAILABLE BUT IS EXTREMELY USER-FRIENDLY AND WILL TAKE YOU LESS TIME!

I can see why they call it the "TEST". We've been tested by the heat, the rain, extreme weather warnings and long hours... We've said it before, but we'll say it again...

Security can be a pretty thankless job at times... So it's really nice to be recognised by our client/peers for the extra effort we go to.

FRINGE WORLD FESTIVAL 2017 IS HERE!

Well it's that time of year again... FRINGE WORLD!

This years FRINGE WORLD festival starts this week and runs all the way to the end of February... non stop!

NPB Security has secured FRINGE WORLD since its beginnings. We love it so much we now sponsor the event.

As most of you know who have worked there in previous years, it's great to be part of such a unique, fun event.

We will be looking for team members to work either crowd control or static guard shifts at a number of different venues around Perth and Western Australia.

NPB Security spreading some Christmas cheer in Perth

NPB Security donated a boot full of turkey, ham and bacon to ensure those in tough circumstances can celebrate Christmas with a decent meal.

Our client provides support for the homeless people as well as those at risk of becoming homeless and struggling families. They provide a safe environment in which support, advocacy and referral can be provided.

Meals are provided free of charge with light refreshments. People do not require a referral to access the service and can also see the community centre link team, mobile GP, street lawyer and individual disability advocate service - All free of charge.

It's an amazing initiative to help those in need.

We've got some awesome news!

Recently at the AHA (Australian Hotels Association) we won a few awards.
We took out the Best Service Provider Award for a 2nd year running but what really came as a shock was that we took off the top award for the night...

WA'S BEST HOTEL & HOSPITALITY SUPPLIER 2016

We were against some pretty accomplished businesses like Lion and Coca-Cola to take off the top "gong". The voting for this prize comes from our clients in the hospitality industry (such as venue managers and owners). So they must like what we do!

We are pretty proud to be given such an award. As you all know security can be a “thankless" job at times so it’s pretty awesome for our efforts to be recognised in this way. A massive thank you to all of our TEAM from NPB Management! We know it’s all your efforts that have built our reputation.

To show our appreciation we are going to make this years NPB Security Awards Night bigger than ever! We are looking at Mid July for this year. Invites will be sent out in June.
