Hi Team

As you are all no doubt aware it will be MANDATORY for all Crowd Controllers working in licensed premises to have a "Responsible Service of Alcohol" or RSA accreditation as of the 1st of July 2018.

If you do not have this accreditation you will not be permitted to work. Further to this, any crowd controller working at a licensed premise without their RSA accreditation will be subject to a $200.00 on the spot fine or up to $2000.00 should you wish to take the matter to court.

If an LEU officer or RGL inspector wishes to see your accreditation you and or the venue will need to produce it on demand. As everyone has a smartphone these days I would encourage you to use your employee portal to hold digital copies of your; 1. Current "Crowd Control Licence" 2. Current "First Aid" certificate 3. RSA accreditation. So you can produce them when called upon.

If you do not have your RSA certificate then you MUST complete the course and submit the certificate to us before the 1st of July. Below are a couple of links to courses

AHA is offering a discounted Responsible Service of Alcohol course for $35 as opposed to the usual non-member price of $65. THIS MAY BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER COURSES AVAILABLE BUT IS EXTREMELY USER-FRIENDLY AND WILL TAKE YOU LESS TIME!

Simply click on the link below and complete the RSA course as normal. Once you reach the payment page select 'yes' when it asks if you work for an AHA Member. Then enter the discount code 'NPBRSA' to activate the discount.

or

Integrated Security Group is also offering an in-class RSA course for $49, you will receive your certificate on the day!
Contact admin@integratedsecuritygroup.com.au if you are interested in attending the course. (MALAGA OFFICE ONLY).

Once you have completed your RSA UPLOAD IT TO YOUR NPB PORTAL!

IF YOU DONT HAVE THIS DONE BY THE 1ST OF JULY NPB SECURITY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU SHIFTS AS IT WILL BE AGAINST THE LAW TO DO SO!!!

Thank you in advance.
